BTA (Boring and Trepanning Association) is a deep hole drilling technology developed in the 1940s. The method is based on the use of a special hollow tool that supplies coolant under pressure to the cutting zone from outside the drill and effectively removes chips through the internal channel of the tool. This scheme guarantees high accuracy, process stability and high-quality machining of deep holes.
